Welcome to Bred Well 4-U Mini Ranch 
where we breed miniature donkeys.

In 2000, my wife Cindy and I bought two donkeys from a friend because they seemed to be a really nice hands-on type of pet and we had plenty of room for them on our farm. Little did we know at the time just how addicting these precious little donkeys would become and how they would change our lives forever. Their love matches the love of any pet or animal we have ever owned and the more time we spend with them, the more obvious it became that in addition to being gentle and lovings pets they were also very therapeutic to everyone they came in contact with. We have even taken them to our local nursing home to share with the patients and staff and it's truly amazing to see their faces light up with joy when they get around these wonderful creatures or as we call them "our gifts from God". 

In the past 7 years, we have increased the numbers of our herd through breeding and buying only the nicest donkeys, paying close attention to pedigree and confirmation, and, just as important, great personality. As you will see from the photos on this site, they come in all colors, with the common thread of being an absolute joy and priviledge to be around.
